Default RE: Homelite starting

Thanks for that planepounder, I bought the weedwacker new only a couple of months back and started the conversion within a week or so, I am using a starter now because it starts every time with one, although from cold it will start by hand?
I was having a problem with the idle speed being to high but in the interests of experimentation I took off the throttle butterfly which had two holes in it and replaced it with a home made one without holes, I can now set the idle at any speed I like. Joe
