to remove a tight sleeve

piston at bdc
insert a thick zip-tie or popsicle stick
into the exhaust port
rotate piston up

that should push the sleeve up
enough to grasp it

be very careful of using a screw driver
to push the sleeve out
one slip easily equals
ruined sleeve

also, your broken bit may just tap out
once you can get to the parts
