Yup it's way too tail heavy at the last mark,

Even at the second mark I'm SURE GLAD I had a full tank of gas in it, otherwise I would not have been able to land it.

Forward of the first mark is where the C.G. belongs as you discovered.

Sadly I lost mine today ( not due to the plane itself! ) when my TX module overheated in flight. (Bad module, I swapped another one in and confinued to fly other planes all morning).

The plane went in TAIL first breaking the fuse where I indicated the frame should be beefed up in my prior message. I had not done so yet.

It hit hard, but fortunately nothing else broke or was damaged.

All of the surfaces/wings, etc. are intact...

I'm going to order another and beef up that area, though this was unrelated to my accident.

That gives me a collection of spare parts, while minimizing built time as I merely transfer everything over.




BTW: For anyone following along

I used inexpensive 130oz/in High Torque analog standard sized servos and these were just fine with this plane. It doesn't need more.
