Default RE: Byron Wedell Williams Racer Build

Next I laminated the firewall and made the anchoring ring. The blind nuts do not fit the holes well so using my "Unibit" I enlarged all the holes to 7/32 then epoxied all the nuts in place. Using the Dremmel I made all the fuse cutouts then sanded the inner area for the firewall mount.

The firewall placed and taped into position then drilled the fiberglass with a 5/32 bit. Starting at 12 o'clock I place a bolt to keep things from shifting them drilled at the 5 and 7 spots then the rest. First time using Aeropoxy and I like the ease of use. No problem with the gun or the mixing tip. The ring was set first and anchored with the bolts, then I applied a generous amount of Aeropoxy to the gap between the ring and fuse. Using my finger I finished it off like caulking leaving a nice radius. Started making the formers by adding the doublers.
