Default RE: BAD BLADES

Hi Pikester,

I have found that 3 out of 4 blades I buy are not correct from the bag and need balancing and or boiling. We are told that at the base of each blade there is a code number or letter to help you mate them from bag to bag from when they are made on the production runs from the factory. Yes the code it there but..I have found that generally the lower blades are more balanced that the top sets. As a matter of fact when I re-work my CX I just put the hot water on no different then getting out the blade balancer.........its just part of the game, remember where this stuff comes from! Now once you get to be good flyer with more experience then blades balanced or not the Heli still flys great overall. But if you want to hover and have the Heli just hang there like its on a piece of thread then you have to do the extra work. I fly often with blades that look like potato chips, you just get to the point where you can do that "if you want to".

Good Luck JPEE
