G'day Mate,
The ailerons are supposed to work that way, that is your primary control in the air, they control the roll axis of the aircraft, the elevators control the pitch axis, & the rudder controls the yaw axis.
PLEASE don't try to fly it yourself, get an experienced pilot to check out the set-up of the plane, & put it up for it's maiden flight, it will save you a lot of frustration & money.
