Iam using a large 12V Motorcycle or ATV/Ski-doo Battery from Canadain Tire - Battery fits nicely with 2 3x3" 1/4" plywood epoxied in place on each side to keep it from sliding about. Battery holds a good charge - Charge needed about 2 times a year.
