Hey guys, just received my dl 50 today Can I rotate the carb 180? This way i wont have to mess with miving my throtle servo set up. Bob told me to get the 8mm bolts with the 0.8mm thread pitch. I am using the standoffs that come with the engine. Also read somewere in this thread to remove a spring off the carb, is this the spring on the opposite side were the throttle servo hooks up? It almost appears that you could hook up the throtle servo on either side of the carb? Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Yes you can rotate the carb, rotate the whole assem, including the reedblock.

You want Metric 5mm 0.8mm thread pitch , dont use 10-32 size, they fit, but the thread is not as tight and you will likely have problems with the bolts coming loose.

You dont have to remove the spring, it is only a light load and shouldnt worry any half decent servo. Some leave it on so that if a throttle linkage breaks, it will return throttle to idle/cut engine. Just unhook the spring off the throttle arm, dont remove or cut it in any way.

Cheers!
lil-redrex,
Thankyou for the info. I will get the 5mm.8thread pitch and rotate the whole assembly, and will only unhook the spring!! thanks again.
