i don't think any motor blows the s7 away, maybe a 1/2 length faster on a long straight. all i can say is they are amazingly smooth but when you need the power its there. they have like built in traction control or something but you can clear any triple with minimal runup. i got the s5 cause i heard it had a bit more bottom than the 7 but the 7 lacks no bottom at all. its a screamer, you'll be very happy. run it 1 or two hours rich from max power and it will last you a long while. i think the older generation rb's had some front bearing issues, but the new l2g's have different bearings so no problems to worry about. i broke my s5 in with the drake method and it liked it. it runs about 220 crisp, any leaner and it lean bogs on the middle of the straight.
