I've also got my heart set on Fury. But I know if I get one now that I would be so scared of crashing the thing that it would just sit there. A fury is on my list and I should be getting one in a few years. It's a shame to let them go, I know how you feel.
Im not into buying a cheap POS that im gonna have to upgrade the heck out of
That's a good way to look at the things before you buy. If you really like the Fury because of its performance, then you will love the Raptor 60. But the 50 is a better choice for the beginner and it will serve you well.
As for crashing, I hate to say it, but it's gonna happen. If you are taught by an experienced pilot and always take it steady, then your chances are vastly improved. And if you get a simulator, then WEE HEE! You'll be flying like a pro in no time. They really really really do help, I don't care what anyone says, they are worth the investment! The controls get sunk into your mind and your responses when flying are quickened be a considerable amount. Well worth the dosh. Or download FMS.
Quick 30's haven't been given out to be as good as they look unfortunately. You'll be better off with a Raptor 50 V2. You won't need any upgrades to fly that like a bat out of hell. They can come with carbon blades, metal swash and a whole lot more.
