You may want to stiffen up the firewall some too. My MT62 has a small footprint on the firewall and when I would go full throttle I could see the motor move 1/16' forward, I just thout that was odd untill the other day the aluminum corner brackets broke. This wasn't from engine shake, the MT62 is very smooth running, it was from firewall flex. I replaced the aluminum corner pieces with oak. I also replaced my gear with a set I had that where almost exactly the same, but 1/16 thicker aluminum. I fly from a very bumpy field though.
