Hi all,
Okey Dokey, I have been flying a while now, I started with the proverbial trainer, went with a foamie as second plane, then a leccy 60" Piper Cub, then a .60 Hellcat and a very nice Sundowner. I now only fly the Hangar 9 built Hellcat and the Sundowner, an awesome, beautiful plane.
It's my Birthday and 'her indoors' says I can buy a plane
I want to try mild 3D, nothing heavy, I don't want to even contemplate mad stuff that you guys do but I want a nice looking 50 to 60 size plane. This plane must look the part, it must be stable.
3D planes can be inherently unstable, I understand it's the nature of these beasts but it's a requirement for our very small landing area that I'll have to use from now on, we've lost some of our field to the Government 'Set aside' so it must land SLOW and STABLE.
Another requirement is it must have an enclosed cowl for the engine, I really hate open cowls.
So that's about it, what can you guys come up with please?
I can put from a .70 to a 1.00 4 stroke in. No 2 strokes
