There are other brands besides Coleman which have similar butane-propane products. Don't know what, if any of these are availble in Costa Rica.

As the guys have indicated, propane will work. The vapor pressure is higher and sometimes doesn't light off as easily.

If you have problems, you might have to lower the Propane percentage down from 80% in the Limits menu and/or make an adjustment to the Glow Plug voltage.
