You need the following

Crossbow OR conventional bow and arrow.

Fixed spool fishing reel with some 30lb nylon [approx]

You are likely to need some stronger line.

Tie 30 lb nylon to quarrel/arrow. Shoot over branch. Try to dislodge plane. If required pull heavier line through and use that.
