No the USB wont power the TX ...

Best trick is to remove the crystal from the transmitter ... It will last for ages without transmitting.

You could also remove the battery and use a power adaptor ....

PS: Blimney you started this thread 2yrs and 2 months ago ...
I shouted Phoenix's praise 2yrs ago ... you will regret not buying sooner!!!!!
(Phoenix has improved a lot ove rthose 2yrs ... it just keeps getting better ....)

2 Years blimey[:@] oooooops the excuse is a good one though( Moved House, had a Baby 9 months old now And to top it off a new job in the last 2 years this = No fun time )

Now we finally all settled i got that fun time to catch up on and i cant wait
