Dont know if you would think about a profile but they are the best starting point for 3d. I just finished my first its a moass mojo available from http://www.swanyshouse.com/index.aspx . I now they (profiles) dont look the best but if you put that aside they are the best. they fly with ease land at a snail pace and when you want it to it will 3d all day long. turn the throws back some and the 60 is a big trainer and great for learning on. and when it comes to learning 3d down low they are strong and will put up with plenty of knocks. I found mine to be very stable and was comfortable to bring it low in hover on only the 3rd flight and its my first gas 3d plane. here is a link to mine flying http://youtube.com/watch?v=_72htxZxhh0
