RE: Phoenix Simulator or XTR
Clubb, my 2cents....I have just gone thru an extensive set of service from Phoenix, They are fantastic, got my program tailored to an unusual computer and working great. Can't say enough good things about them. & I really like the sim. I've had the Dave Brown for DOS, RF 2, Clearview and now RF 4 also. I'll be selling the RF4 soon and the Clearview is sitting around here somewhere and is definitely available. As for the controller, when you buy Phoenix, you choose what kind of radio you have and they send you the right kind of cable "dongle;" I use it with my Dx6i.
You pay your money and you take your choice. All of them have their strong points and all can help you learn and are fun for a few minutes of late night or lunch break flying. Let us all know how you like what you get. Doc
