There is a very usefull Turbine performance chart in the RADIO CONTROL JET INTERNATIONAL. This shows the Merlin with a .5 kg thrust more than the Nexus fuel consumption is slightly better than the Nexus, but installed weight of the Merlin is is 1.01 LBS heavier than the NEXUS, giving a thrust to weight of 3.51 for the Merlin and 3.77 for the Nexus!!!!!!!!!
I Fly The Skygate Hawk at 20kg weight with the Nexus and the performance is superb.
