Which valve do you have? If it is the BVM Dual Rate valve, you don't need the restrictors in the lines, as one position only applies low pressure for gentle braking, and the other applies high pressure for "panic" stops. The instructions specify a small coating of vaseline on the o-rings ("quad" rings actually).
They should work fine, but the "Smooth Stop" valve is a major improvement.
