Default Brakes

Larry,
I have a set of BVM brakes on a BVM Aggressor 2 and have had a lot of fun with them. The biggest thing I do is, Keep lots of grease on them, I don't use vasiline I got a tube of Snake oil greese and I really lube everything up. I was flatspotting the tires since it would lock up without grease.
I use the standard valve off or on. They will not lock now I start out with about 110 psi in my system and i use it 3 or 4 times on the taxi out. Then take off retract the gear. fly 6-7 minutes. throw the gear down land or T&G then use the brakes to stop. then taxi in use the brakes 2-3 times on the taxi in. They will not lock and they drag the plane to a stop quite quickly.
I really don't think you need the other stuff unless maybe you have a turbine.
