Why not use something that will help? Personaly, I don't have alot of time to spend at the field and I'll take whatever helps me be a better pilot. No shame in doing that. All the pro fliers cheat. You don't see any of them running "standard" radios without any mixing capabilities do you? I don't fly Futaba but with my radio, one servo plugs into an aileron channel and the other into the flap channel. I use the flap swith to activate. It has 3 positions-neutral, middle, and full.
