I have the sr telemaster. Can't say enough for it. Just plain love the plane. Bombays, oversized control surfaces and big 4 stroke power. No flaps. dont need them.
I also have a Senior Telemaster in my stable. Built it without flaps however the Telemaster 40 comes with plans for flaps so there wouldn't be any adapting necessary.
I have a Tele 40 kit on the shelf but already have too many underway so it will be awhile. I imagine that I'll load it up heavier than normal and use the flaps. I haven't had a plane with flaps since the mid 80s. That was a P51 that truly needed them. With retracts added and numerous repairs the beast had the glide ratio of a rock (:-)
