goirish, I literally fly all over the eastern side of the country. I'm a truck driver, and as you know jobs in Mi. are tight right now, so nothing local. When I'm home I grab the bigger stuff and head for our club field. Here is a link to our clubs website and a couple shots of the field. OK, never mind, I can't figure out how to make a link to post and the pictures I have access to aren't very good and don't do the field justice. Do a search for JRCC Jackson Radio Control Club and you should come up with something or use the club finder on the AMA's website. Some time when I'm home we'll have to get together. I always like meeting new modelers.
Back on topic, I will say that I am going to be switching to 2.4 for my ground stuff when cash allows. Same problem as with my planes, just too many to do all at once.
