Hi:
I found a almost brand new MX 400 with all electronics installed and the Futaba servos, gyro and TX, all paper work and boxes. The helimax motor crapped out before I could get it in the air. I went to the Local Hobby shop and the motor they had (the same as installed) did not work also. Tried another motor and spun up like a champ. Problem isolated. I ordered a Scorpion HK-2221-12 which is a little more efficient that the Helimax 6 pole brushless (no specs available). So in a few days I should have an ability to see the toy get off the ground.
Question for any of you who have experience with this heli, have you installed the CCPM up grade kit, or any of the aluminium parts? If so how much does it shorten the cpntrol arms from the servos? Any one have a copy of the upgrade instructions so I can get a feel for how hard it is.
Has anyone tried a ProtekRC Lo-Po Transmitter B attery yet?
