Missleman is correct, the only reason a 3-wire switch is needed is for binding the receiver.

I thought that was what I said.

I must bind to much then. Any time I change the settings in the DX-7 for a particular plane I re-bind the reciever in the plane. For instance if I reverse a servo on a channel or change the expo I re-bind the reciever.
