Sure it's expensive. But you do get a lot of metal and resin detailed parts with it. Click on the photo of it. Then click on: Weitere Bilder right below the photo. There are some great shots of what this kit comes with. There are also modelers out there that like to build something this detailed with all these parts then the normal out of the box builders. I do believe this conversion kit was made prior to Tamiya's coming out. So at that time, it would have been the only thing available. WeCoHe is way more expensive but way more detailed and accurate. So it just depends on where you want to put your money. It's all perspective.
