putting the extra shim in helps drop compression during break in... . just takes a bit of stress off the rod and beerings... remember to pre heat with a heat gun and you will be good as for fuel.... i believe its one shim for 20% and two shims for 30% i run both my GO's on 20% with one shim and OS P3 plugs and they run fantasticly.... hope that helps....
