RE: Walmart brand Weedeater ???
Hey thanks, believe it or not, I was surfing carr and jag before I logged on here tonight.
I saw enough pics the I figured out that the long shaft engine is easier to convert with a prop hub
that gets held on with the original threaded part of the crank.
I saw your engine and the plastic on the back of yours is black.
I'm sure the plastic on the back of mine is white.
Will this make a difference?
The aluminum channel engine mount seems simple enough.
Do you drill out the back of your flywheels and then punch out the steel pins the
the starter thingys rotate on?
What do you do about a muffler?
Or do you run straight pipe?
I know you say my engine is a Ryobi and I don't doubt your word,
but just for the sake of saying it.
I looked and the block and flywheel have the word Stihl embossed into them.
I'm thinking Ryobi makes them for Stihl??
Will this make a difference if I go to convert it?
I really want this to work so I can put it on my Stinger 120.
Thanks
