Default RE: Tower 46 Engine

Don't get me started on the 46AX...

I will try to keep this short, but it is very difficult for me...let's see:

I was told by a guy who only flies electric that 'your 46AX almost makes me want to go glow; it's the only engine here that runs RIGHT."

I just learned how to prime it (only two flips of the prop). It now starts on the first or second flip of the stick, EVERY DAY.

I can't justify buying an electric starter. I look at them, and just think how much of a waste of money when I can use a stick every time.

The only thing more forgiving than the O.S. 46AX is God.

I needed a second engine for my next plane. I got a 55AX.

Is that enough? If not I'm happy to keep on going. I will never buy another brand engine. Oh, and mine's been through two serious crashes, requiring complete disassembly. Now it runs even better. Seriously.

Run 10% nitro. No need for more. Really, don't bother. I like Wildcat Extra, 10% nitro, 18% oil, 80/20 synthetic/castor. I tried other mixes, 10% is the best for this engine.

Congratulations.
