How about the K&B 48. I've heard great things about that engine and MECOA will give you a trade-in deal.

Or an Irvine 53. A little expensive, but worth it.

Better to have an American or British engine in the Mustang. Almost sacrelious to put a Russian or Chinese engine in the P-51
