How do you like your PTS trainer so far?

I am looking for my first plane, and settled on a Kadet LT-40 but looked at the one you have originally. I was talked out of it though by many members in my club. They said it was difficult to learn on.

My thinking was, why buy two planes, a really slow trainer I'll outgrow and then a second plane that's more capable when someone makes a trainer that can be made capable by removing the few add-ons that make it a trainer. Plus, it's a slick looking airplane!
