There are about 7 things to setup, most are simple and are just common sense.

It's a bit tricky to work your way through the menus at first, you use the throttle stick on the transmitter to program the ESC...it's all in the manual that comes with it.

There is even a way to program it via a cable to your PC, but I didn't bother with that, it's easy enough to figure out using the TX...
