i eliminated the 4tec due to a few complaints ive read about problems with handling. i wont worry about an electronic start, its just another thing that gobbles up batteries

i know how to start a lawnmower, ill be fine with a decent pull start lol. electronic is nice, but i hate dealing with batteries. on the subject of batteries... can i use like 12 AA rechargable instead of plain ones? the reason i ask is because rechargables are only 1.2v and regular alkalines are 1.5v. that adds up do a total of 2.4v lost in the controller(considering it is 8 AA) and 1.2v lost in the reciever(if it is 4 AA). and the most important purchase i think i will make will be a failsafe because i dont wanna buy a $350 car and run it into the neighbors cat then watch it bash into a thousand pieces against a curb if it goes out of range
