OK guys, I've been looking at the AX10 kit. It looks nice, I'm going to get one next week.

I see that MIP has CVDs for the drive shafts and the axles, are they over kill? The AX10 doesn't look that heavy to me? I've seen people use Stampede drive shafts on the AX10.
I have also seen shocks with no springs, they look cool, but why not run springs? How is this done?
