I upgraded my ESC to the Align 35A (X version) and it works EXTREMELY well! It is programable but I have found that it works GREAT out of the box for the blade 400. It also has a 6v BEC built in so you can get the most out of your servo's and gyro! Great upgrade in my opinion and fairly cheap compaired to the stocker.
