RE: Name the Plane
Ray:
If it was like the greenish blue color that is the beastie that I was working on. I believe that the orange unit is an Amada or Bystronic unit. It was a nice trip and Belfast is a very pleasent area to stay in. We also stayed in Bangor at O'Hara's Royal when I was at Lasercut Services which is also in the H&W complex. The trip up to Bushmills was a good time also.
Always like the ride on Air Lingus when they used those old 747's. Nice trip across the north atlantic on the big bird. My wife and I intend to get to Ireland within the next year and we will give you fair warning when we are going to be in Belfast like to meet you. You are a wealth of good information for us pattern guys.
Glad to hear that Airbus is using Zap. Good glue and kicker but I would think they would use CG Jet, the name fits better.
