I try to use coreless digitals, because of the repeatable accuracy. Some like metal gears better than nylon, some don't, but I've found the thing I want the most is accurate precision, so I use a good high speed with digital and coreless technology. If I had some spare bucks for throttles right now, I'd go with the new Hitec 7985's. What I have currently is the 5625, and they aren't coreless, and you can tell on the speed. I think throttle is a lot of "personal preference".
