I am using the Vess 22A on my DL50 Ultimate and it is very quite. FLys the Ultimate JUST RIGHT. Another guy at the flying field was running a smaller 45 size gasser with a Zinger and it ripped so loud I though the engine was coming off. He was really surprised as a I made a full bore low pass with no prop rip. He had a couple of Vess' in his box but hadnt run cause he thought they didnt look right.... hmmmm. If they hadnt been drilled for his motor I'd of snatched em right up.

I have three gallons through mine now and it has been nearly flawless. Had two flame outs and both time were a few seconds after pulling to a vertical. It would restart and run just fine afterwards. Probably a burp of air is only thing I can think of. Vess 22A and I am switching from LawnSLudgy to synthetic next fillup. I haven't touched the needles since the first half gallon of fuel. Runs at about 7250rpm. Just like running my OS nitros.
