Cambo you are right. We have 100% down to 0% and the temps are anywhere also. And i have learned that what works one week will not work the next. It seems to be worse with my glow engines (mabye the nitro has an effect there). I now tune mine before everydays flying and after i am done i run it dry and turn the needle valve 1/2 turn out to set up the next times flying. Not with my gas but all my glows! My gas engine i check and tune only if needed. I am patiently waiting on my dl50 to get here. It has a nice new home in a GP 330s waiting for it. I have a brillelli and a 40 spe can't wait to try the big 50 in a pure 3D plane!!
You will really like this engine, and it is almost on the money right out of the box. The last few engines we have sold has not needed any adjustment to the needles according to the feedback we have received. I think the factory is spending a little more time on the testing before shipping.
