We like our new Protos!! We just got it from Tower, $255 delivered.

Its only our 2nd RC nitro car, so we carefully read all the instructions, which are quite good, before we tried anything.

I got some high quality 25% fuel and got all the batteries charged up and went for the break in procedure. It took a few tries, but she finally fired up and I went through 4 full tanks of fuel at a nice low idle.

I then tested out the radio and attempted to drive it, but the steering mechanism was very far off, plus the engine, at its default settings, is running so rich it had no power to get going.

So, back to the lab bench for tweaking. Despite these minor setbacks, my son and I are looking forward to a lot of fun with this model.
