The groove that holdes the E-clip is probably worn. So solution 1. to temp fix it try putting CA + on the e-clip and shaft. This sometimes fixes the problem temp. Solution 2, Buy a 1/8 snap rings. This is a better problem fixer. Solution 3. If you can drill and tap the shaft for a 4-40 socket heat bolt. This will permantly fix the problem.
