Just wondering what Airfoilz you were not happy with. Just finished a Edge 540 for a friend. Madened during a 15 mph plus wind, so could not tell much, but it would hang and harrier, and KE loop well. Friend brought me a Pigi 3D last week, ugley, but built it. It flys better than it looks, but nothing to talk about IMHO. Do have a PA Katana MD that your gear should work in. This again does not come up the the hype in my view, but its a good flyer for almost everything. Does have a tendency to fall off in high alpha and low speed stuff which I don't like. Best overall flyer I have had since in the hobby from 1948 (long time & old) is QQ's 72"Yak. Thing just hangs in there at all attitudes and does nothing you don't want it to do. Getting a good power plant for it is a problem, the recommended Elvo 26 gasser is just not enough. It will hang, and torque roll, but barely, and if you really get dumb thumb, the power is flat not there. I to would like to find something that flys great in the 40" or so electric range under $100.00, so will be watching your thread with interest. Have built and flown 5-6 rcx planes.com, best foamys I have encountered so far. I just can't seem to keep one alive for long which is my problem. They tend to make you over confident, a good thing for most except a old geizer like myself. ENJOY
