Thank God!!! Thought I was alone in the woods out here regarding motors and batteries. The motor recommended for the Airfoilz edge was a Turnigy 2217 something. On a TP 1320 3C1P at 15C, performance was barely adequate. Dont have a good 20 or 30C small pack to see is if things would improve with C alone. Have Hacker 20-20L on a pigi-3D that flys the same way. Stick on a 30C 1800 3Cell pack and flight times really improve but performance is about the same. A little improvement with a new Turnigy 2217/20. This is one of the reasons I like dealing with people like Bud Wilkerson at rcx planes.com, 3D hobby shop and the PA people. All my rcx planes performed great, the PA Katana with the recommended "Thrust 30??? and the AJ Extra with the Hacker 30??? perform reasoably. Was supprised with the Thrust motor as the name was new to me and most everyone else. Smaller than the Hacker, still has great power for the model and motor size, impressed here.

It takes time and money to test motors and batteries, one of the reasons few shops and manufacturers do. If we do business with the people who care enough to insure our satisfaction, we should say thanks openly. If push came to shove, I think the people mentioned above would guarantee performance with their recommended gear. That should soon separate the wheat and chaff. Just my 2 cents. ENJOY
