If you don't change the electronics there's nothing to do as the increased power will blow your existing board.
Now, let's say you had the Smoke and Sound electronics in your Tiger and you want some more power and torque. Simply buying the Asiatam 3-1 gearboxes with the included black capped suntech motors will be fine. These motors should be the same ones currently in your old non-S&S Tiger.
Buy choosing not to break in the gearboxes you run the risk of blowing your circuit board due to increased resistance from the friction generated by the gears. It takes a couple hours and is not hard to do at all. We'll happily walk you through it.
As a safety measure I like to have a fan blowing on my boards heatsink. However, as my testing has shown, the 3-1 gearboxes allows the motors to run at fewer amps then they would in the original gearbox. It's your call, and money.
