don't alter from the plan. Use the buddie cord for 2-3 flights.
Fly it at 2-3 mistakes high. Then fly it at half throttle so you know how it behaves at slower speed.
Then just do landing precedures at 2-3 mistakes high and bring it lower as you get more comfortable.
You'll get use to it faster than you think. You're not to crahes it at 2-3 mistake high.
If you get in trouble just slow down.
Even if you do goof at a lower altitude, you probably not going to crash it, if it was trainer.
Sometimes trainers crash becuase they don't roll right side up fast enough.
