I have to disagree I run my DL in the 7700 range on the ground (on a pipe) unloads in the air and runs great, two stroke engines make power through RPM these engines are made to run in the 12-14 thousand RPM range look at any chain saw and check the RPM, I know everone is going to say this is not a chain saw engine, true but all these small engines came from industral roots.
