i did the whole AA 2500-2650's for a little while....till the packs started messin up...i decided Enuff of this BS...and went on to Lipo....ill never ever go back....Period.
They do need to be properly soldered if you want them to last. I just wish they were not so heavy. What lipo charger you guys use?

i used Orion Mini battery bones....so they were solder'd on correctly....and yes they are somewhat heavy in comparison to a lipo........i Use an Ice and a Superbrain 989 for all my lipo duties....2 cell Rx...3 cell Tx...and 4 cell Starter box....for a balancer i use a blinky....simple and dummie proof.
