depends on the surface your sliding
and how much control you want
i have found that yokomo drift tyres are great on road....will pvc on road will cause alot of spinning
but in day a smoothjer car park yokomo will grip to much unless you have a powerful motor
while the pvc slides nicely
a locker in the rear will help you keep those long slides
you can slide without a locker but her personal preferrence
i use dual locks in my xray
