Default RE: DL-50 engine

Maddog,

I've flown both the Pitts and the Eagle with US Engines 41 (I don't remember if that's the correct size for the US Engine), SuperTigres, Fujis. I liked the Eagle well enough with the Fuji and it didn't seem to fly heavy for me, but it definitely could have used more power.

I'm running a DL 50 in my Great Planes 27% Extra 330S ARF and I absolutely love the engine. Try a DL in your Pitts and I'm sure she will no longer be a hangar queen! You'll want to get a Pitts muffler. I got the J-Tech from DL USA when I got my engine, but I didn't like the way it was made (more of an appearance thing) and the part where it bolted onto the engine stuck out too far (but it would probably be okay in your Pitts cowl (more room than the Extra I bet). I got the Slimline muffler that is made for the DA and I like that muffler much better.

Best of luck!
