Hey guys.
I dont know what i would do without all of your feedback and info. Two weeks ago I purchased a NIB cx-2 for Dad and a used one for myself. Mine has many upgrades, which is why I purchased it. I wanted to see what sort of difference they made in the performance of the heli. Anyway, I live 2 hours from Dad and we are practicing on our own. I have been practicing with my upgraded heli every day and night for 2 weeks. It is/was very touchy and I could not figure out why.. When I flew his, it was slower and not as aggressive. Since I am new to the hobby, I am just starting to figure things out. I am semi-mechanically inclined, so I think I am catching on quickly. I have been reading as much as I can about the CX-2 flight, upgrades, and set-up. After realizing yesterday that the servo pushrods were out in the third hole, I figured I should try to move it to the second hole. Of course, I was worried about screwing up the perfect setup and hover that the previous owner had done. Needless to say, it is so much more enjoyable to fly inside! I was able to balance the swashplate I believe. NO problems with my hover. It seems balanced. Although I was able to fly pretty well out on the third hole, AFTER NUMEROUS CRASHES INSIDE, it is much more enjoyable to fly in the second hole. You can stop laughing now
